I did the daily-driver early p-car thing for several years in the past. It worked out fine and the reliability was actually very good. Now it would not be practical for me as my commute is >50miles of LA bullshit every day and I'm getting older so A/C and some creature comforts are a bit more important to me. Not to mention a 3rd old that I have to chauffer sometimes.
Sooo...my teener currently sees about 2 weekend canyon runs and 2 track events a month, if I am "on target". No cruising, it is either parked or being hammered at 6000+ rpm's. Lately...it mostly sits in the garage though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |
