Having trouble locating alumimum turnbuckes for my splitter. The ones I have on now (and pretty beat up from cones) have 1/4" rod ends and adjust out from 3 1/2" to 5".
I thought they came from West Marine, but no joy there. Know where I can find these? Thanks. |

I actually looked on the McMaster Carrr website, but couldn't find what I needed. But then MC got back to me and pointed out:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#turnbuckle-style-...ng-rods/=h07f5y Got to know the correct words to use in the search. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Only negative is that they are pretty expensive, i.e., like 15 bucks for just the female bit. |
