posted today to the 356 list:
when you read this, you'll know what i know. for further information, email Jeffrey Vogel [ parzival@pipeline.com ] " My garage neighbor came over to tell me he had a Porsche engine and wanted to put in a VW beetle. He asked me to look it over and I found that it was a 914 2.0L motor and gearbox, not a 356 variant, When I told him that it's not gong to fit easily into a bug, he offered it to me for $950. He told it came out of a running car, and I can't use it but perhaps some list member would like it. We can easily put it on a pallet for shipping. Engine/transaxle is located in Southampton NY. " [edit - stupid post software deletes email addresses (and everything else) within angle brackets ... ] |
