Finally got the console back from the upholstery shop on Friday. Since I went with a single piece dash, I moved the radio to the top of the console. I originally wanted an AMCO console but they are hard to locate. I'm happy with this alternative.
  This is what got me going on a new radio. But it is only available in Europe.  So I found the JVC single DIN Navigation Radio. Looks pretty close to the Porsche.  |

Your solution is 100% better than an Amco console. I had one of those back in the late 70's on a '70 914-6 and it was junk. I like your console a lot.
