Yeah... cow catcher. The thing bolted to the front bumper and valance. May have to change the contrast on your monitor to see it. Rich nailed it. It's the mounting frame for the front oil cooler. Instead of cutting the car and putting the cooler into the front trunk, the oil cooler is simply mounted under the front bumper. This was a pretty common way of running an external oil cooler back in the day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |
