Today I got the Subaru engine to fire up using the Megasquirt and EDIS modules!!!!!

Next up is boost control, intake plumbing, and getting all of the above suspended in the car!!!

Plus I have to clean up the engine bay, move the fuel pump and other arduous tasks!!!!

I'll put a video up in the next couple of days :-)

Turns out the firing and cylinder order diagram in the Subaru Legacy Haynes manual is looking from the back of the engine, not the front. Screwed me up royally. The engine runs really smoothly though - although the ignition timing and injection pulses are probably WAAAY out of wack.

We'll get it all fixed up soon.
