There are zero (youtube) track video's of LS powered 914's posted for all to see...now there is one.
However, mine fits under the "better than nothing" category. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

PS - I forgot to mention this also might serve as a demo vid for my car (for sale). Sorry in advance
for the 30 seconds of pics at the beginning.

Andys,

I believe we've discussed this before...the LS2 is the most sought after pan (vette) to go with as it has the best factory baffleing available. If you do not have one pick one up but they are pricey due to the demand. The other key is to only run street tires which is what I've done so far.

Did I ask that before? Heck, I just had my 63rd B'day and can't remember what I typed 20 minutes ago, lat alone two weeks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Anyway, good luck on your sale.

Andys,

Well it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It probably was someone else...you're ahead of me as I have the same problem (but am only 41)!

Anyway, the LS2 Vette pan works great. The engines that are notorious for failing are the LS3 but that is due to how poor the heads drain back. Everything you see in the video was done with my current set-up and have never lost pressure. The key to LS engines on the track is to run thicker oil as they do get hot and standard weight oil won't handle that well. Thanks for the thoughts!

PS - the car is sold pending payment.

Also, I forgot to mention I have family roots in the area - my mother grew up in Thousand Oaks and I have an Aunt/Uncle who lived in Santa Clarita for 30 years. Nice area you're in!
