haha made you look. So was looking throught past posts to so exectly how to bleed the air out. I found that the front of the car should be 18" higher then the front. Is this true? This seems really high. I got it up 13" (no viagra), so i'm going to try and bleed it.
Also in the instructions it says to take it for a drive. do you lift the front up again when you get back home to bleed it? or leave it down. Attached image(s) ![]() |

Who's cooling system are you using? If you have the Renegade expansion tank in the rear, or something similar to it, you can really just top the system as best you can and then cycle the car on and off. Hot to cold to hot to cold. On my V8 car, the air would purge itself eventually this way.
I had regular Chevy style radiator in front, and I just topped it off once and had a bleed valve at the top. The rest was done by cycling. No need to lift the car. I've heard of some funky ways with big long hoses over the car and jacking the car up to bleed the air out of some Simpson setups (from a shop that was installing the Simpson setup and learned the technique directly from Rod). Needless to say, he went to the expansion tank like the one in the picture. Attached image(s) ![]() |
