i met i guy who has a 2.0/6 he may part with.
Part # 901.1021102.1R no carbs, and unsure of compression-had heads, rods, crank, upright fan, ect.. wants 1k...is this a good deal? |

i met i guy who has a 2.0/6 he may part with. ... wants 1k...is this a good deal? What do you want to do with it? Consider that a rebuild will likely run you $10K or more. If it's going into a 914-4, then you need the carbs, the engine mounting stuff, a shift linkage, an exhaust, an oil tank and fittings and such... If you have a carb'ed 911 or 914-6, this could be worthwhile to use as a core to do a rebuild on. I personally wouldn't pay that much for it, but then I'm not interested in a 2.0 911 engine anyway. --DD |
