I have a muffler with a lot of surface rust. What is the best way to prep for spray and what spray paint is recommended? I have used the high temps at the local flaps and they always stayt to peel off after a while.

I really like ceramic coating muffler/exhaust systems. It's not as cheap as spray paint, but it actually works and lasts for years and years.
My local powder coater offers it in a semi shiny silver and black. The last time I had a Bursch system coated it cost around $200. Still looks new 2 years later. . . You get what you pay for. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
