i have just bought my first 914 when i shut the doors it looks like it pushes the windshield pillar up slightly they have had new rubbers put on is this the cause or does the cat have a bit of sagging thanks brian

My tub is bent below the A pillar on both sides. The DAPO welded the cage and bracing too hot. This makes my wing window hit the A pillar when closing AND it looks like the doors sag slightly in the rear. I have no rust issues either.
The car was a purpose built race car at the time of the welding. It tracks straight and true. Handles perfect and predictable. I drive it and enjoy it. One day... I will cut the cage out and make it un-bent. Until then... I drive... Flat out... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |
