In the fan housing on a 914.....if the cooling flaps are in the dropped position, is cooling occurring or is it when the flaps are lifted?

Yea but if you make your own FI harness you can put the CHT on either side (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Could be that both heads have the boss.
