PO relocated my 74 3-port fuel pump to the rear fire wall to the right of the the speedo cable, fuel lines, flapper wires, etc.
![]() ![]() I've got the fuel tank out to replace the fuel lines with SS ones now, but I don't want to relocate the fuel pump up front if I don't have to (don't like it being below the steering rack). Is this location far enough away from the HE's to avoid problems? |

It's really not that much work moving it to the front. You went this far, why not alittle further? You'll most likely never have a vapor lock issue with the pump, being where its at now. It's just a peace of mind issue for me, if it was my car.
