PO relocated my 74 3-port fuel pump to the rear fire wall to the right of the the speedo cable, fuel lines, flapper wires, etc.

I've got the fuel tank out to replace the fuel lines with SS ones now, but I don't want to relocate the fuel pump up front if I don't have to (don't like it being below the steering rack). Is this location far enough away from the HE's to avoid problems?

i mounted mine in approx the same position. no probs with heat that i've noticed aside from the fuel in the webers after a long sit on a hot day, after shut down. well away from the vent on the flapper valve. where did you place your filter?

Think I'm going to put the filter up front under the tank at the hand hole. PO left it in the stock location.
