The guy I used to restore Alfalfas for has closed his shop and offerd me a good deal on his lift. It is now in service (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Yet another step in the right direction I hope. Scraping by isn't fun, but it does seem to pay off every once in a while (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

is it even worth trying to get a long nose for a decent price? I'm missing my 356 that I sold about 10 years ago - man that thing is worth 3-4 times what I sold it for then! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) Even basket case 356 projects are stupid expensive now. Are the long nose 911s there yet?

The 73 S I just started on, they are now valueing at 165,000.00 in perfect shape. And they give my 73 T with MFI 115,000.00 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif) |

If anyone has recent information changes let me know. With the run up in the cars just following ours, those built in January [1965], we may have to have another talk with our insurance providers.... Most notable was the January 1965 car 300 278 which xxxxxxxx placed on ebay with very good information and photos. Although needing a restoration it topped out at $102K Another car, new to us, 300 218 is in the process of moving from Montana to Europe. If anyone has info on the car or who is involved with the deal have them contact us. Our intentions are totally honorable. We can account for our three prototypes, 58 known cars and 19 that are no-longer. (The rumored cars are still on the "gone missing" list). xxxxxxxx has just added 300134 to his collection, a hearty welcome. Jochen Bader at the factory is minding the store on a few touch up items on this great car. There was a stellar story on Prototype 13 327, xxxxxxxxx's car in "Motor Trend Classic" this spring. If you would like a copy of the story I have it in .jpg form. Just drop me a note and I can send it. xxxxxxxxx is the proud owner of the recently completed 300 018. It has finished it's first showing in Geneva. I'm a little partial to red cars so this made my heart pace faster. Welcome back to the living.... this transformation is legendary. Alois Ruf knows these cars doesn't he. If you read "Classic Porsche" out of England you might look for issue #10, xxxxxxxxxx's car makes the news via Coy's. And issue #11 has another of our 232 cars, a 400k mile driver making an appearance. All is good. drive fast. Bob Fleming |
