I am looking to replace the exhaust muffler system on my car and need some guidence on whats available for the 914 2.0 and what would be recommended to get the best sound and performance from the car. I have been looking at the Manza Exhaust system but I am not sure what if any drawback thier would be to installing that type of muffler system.

I had a smog legal Busch on my old '75 (sorta, the EGR fitting/port on the exhaust was not drilled...I guess it was "optional" ???? )
It probably wasn't an original California car? I've seen quite a few variations but these days the smog guys are realy picky and enthusiasts get no love. I heard an unqualified rumor that the state was going to change the smog laws soon to allow no smog checks for 76 and older cars but I'll believe it when I see it. |
