Not shooting the messenger, but only 3X+ what an original owner 73 sold for on a fellow 914 site this summer! the car is awesome but the price is about 10k, the asking price is original 914-6 territory or really nice 6 conversions |

Not shooting the messenger, but only 3X+ what an original owner 73 sold for on a fellow 914 site this summer! the car is awesome but the price is about 10k, the asking price is original 914-6 territory or really nice 6 conversions Sorry but I think there is nothing wrong with the asking price. Try and restore 914 back to "original" for under 20K. If it is truly documented from day one with all service history, no rust, and only needs the center console repaired It is well with in the $20K range in my book. I would rather see our cars go up in value and excellent examples should demand and get top prices. It was just a few years ago that you could get a very original /6 for $12k - $15K range, now well north of $20K or more. I wish the seller the best of luck and I hope they get their asking price. |
