So, first I saw this.
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i916.photobucket.com-8123-1353814154.1.jpg) Than I did this. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i916.photobucket.com-8123-1353814154.2.jpg) The front would be easy!alot of work but not hard. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) But the rear? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) How much of the rear end of a 914 could be removed? (Sheet metal) I think a tube end frame could be added if it would help? The sale pannels would need to go. Maybe push out the doors and the rear fenders? How about some input!!! QUOTE I have put the 2 914 back into storage and have goin back to work on my tube/908-3. Thanks for the input on my 914's. Randy OK... I'm lost. We went through 3 pages of ugly "Will a 914 make a cool 908?" pictures and questions and all along you had a tube frame Subie version in the works? And this was an exercise in... ??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Why not just start out with; "Hey gang, here's a cool Subie powered 908/3 I'm building... follow along!"
