So, first I saw this.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i916.photobucket.com-8123-1353814154.2.jpg) The front would be easy!alot of work but not hard. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) But the rear? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) How much of the rear end of a 914 could be removed? (Sheet metal) I think a tube end frame could be added if it would help? The sale pannels would need to go. Maybe push out the doors and the rear fenders? How about some input!!! Started with.
"Something got me thinking tonight?, Could a 908-3 body kit be made for a 914??" Then. ".......or maybe we could stop trying to turn a 914 into another Porsche and just respect it for the PORSCHE IT IS." So I gave up on the 914 donor. Went back to a old project. And. "54 posts and you walk into the forum and mislead people, look for attention and then call Eric not cool." So,whats up with the "mislead people" ? I have been trying to work out a 908-3 without spending $1.4 Mil. http://blog.jameslist.com/2011/1970-targa-...o-porsche-9083/ "Why not just start out with; "Hey gang, here's a cool Subie powered 908/3 I'm building... follow along!" " Because I felt that 914 mite be a good donor and I was not working on the tube chassis at that time. I am sorry if I upset (Eric) but it was not cool. For now I will stay with the tube 908-3 but here is a photo of the motor for one of my 914's. Think I built it up in 2007+-? for the 914GTSti.
