So I came across this while looking at another thread on Pelican. I've seen the scissor lift's before. I've been scrolling Craigslist for the last year or so for one. While in the other thread there was a link to Harbor freight. scissor lift With one of their 20% off coupons that get's it down to $800. That is very reasonable.
So my question is who has one? Can you pull your motor with one without interference? What are the pro's & cons of them? Old thread I am reviving as I finally am buying one |

Okay Reviving this older thread. I didn't end up buying one last time around. I am buying a Bend Pak MD-6XP this saturday. It is a year old & the guy bought a 2 post lift for his shop instead. I am buying it for $1200 & it's about $1800 new without freight. I've been watching for quite a while & for a good quality lift. This looks to be a good price. I went away from the harbor freight lift. While I like to buy the random tool there that I don't use every day. The thought of putting myself under one of their lifts was (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) for any length of time. I will get some picks up as soon as I get back. I'll need to make some ramps to sit on the sides. At least until it is in the air
