Just setting up for testing my new timing light an I saw this lead disconnected. I pulled out my trusty Haynes and my guess is that it's the thermo-time lead wire?
Is this supposed to be on the positive terminal of the coil?  |

I do not think that is the thermo time. That would be on the base of the plenum.
