Those clamps, the Napa photo and the German, both work the same way. The only difference is the thickness of the band material, and I don't see how that could affect performance or damage the hose. Same width and surface area.
Whew, Nine 14, you had me worried there. I have three or four BMW's in the garage with those Napa fuel line clamps. Couldn't deal with any more balls of fire between my legs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
