This has been bugging me. I knew I seen this car at some point in the past. The current milage is showing 43,615. When I inquired about this car when it was for sale back in May of 2009, it was showing 43,552 on the odometer. I think this car was put on Ebay at some point, but was originally in Pano. I posted photos from the po which show both the grill badges, decal on cleaner, and blue spark plug wires. Car was from CT. Vin number 4762901469. So, definetly not the same one out of Chicago that Chris and I were drooling over. 10/75 build date. The car was very nice, but not quite the same caliber as the Chicago car or Dave Cheeks. Looks like it received an excellent detailing. The red flags for me at the time were the car was suppose to be original paint, but the paint by the vin tag seems very rough/textured. Also appears to be overspray on the right corner of the rain tray.
If anyone is serious about bidding on the car, I'm happy to foward you the cooresponce from the gentleman I spoke with back in 2009. Was mainly done over the phone, but he did send me quite a few photos.    |
