I am new to 914s and have a chance to purchase my first 914, which is a 1.7. I know the 2.0s are faster and better, but is 1.7 good enough for me????
Please help me decide! |

I've had both 1.7 and 2.0
I guess you could say the 2.0 has a little more "pull" off the line (best I could describe), but please if you've found a nice solid 1.7 that's mechanically sound, get it....better than a rusty 2.0! a friend has a '71 1.7, and when I drive it I get the same "yahhoooo" feeling when I hit the gas.....
