And here is the SLS powder system that can make metal and plastic parts. Looks pretty much the same as the late 90's system that I used.
Remember, while it works, the bearings are stair-stepped and will eat themselves in a short time. The powder feedstocks can be deadly to your lungs, so a home machine is probably not going to be offered soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmxjLpu2BvY |
