newbie here

not looking for judgement or opinions, just simple question about koni front strut housings and what inserts fit

koni obviously, but what about

kyb g series
blistein
other?

I didn't think the SC series had koni struts....
maybe koni inserts but not struts
the SC's and Carrera's did have 3.5 spacing but I thought they all came with Boge or something struts

I though the actual koni struts were roughly from about 1970- to 1976-ish years
and only an option on those years (S caliper option)
versus the standard strut with 3inch spacing


John's pictures show the difference well
you can see how the housing becomes larger on the koni just above the mounting point for the spindle... on the others it is the same tube size.
this is why you don't see koni struts with spindle mounting location modifications (the taper)

I run koni struts which are sectioned for a drop
but then race shocks inside to accomodate the modification and give travel to a lowered car.

check the shape of the struts on your car
