Howdy. I have a '75 914 with a stuck engine cover latch. The knob/lever doesn't move at all and I can't seem to trip the latch from inside the trunk (like I've been able to in the past). Anyone have any suggestions for getting it open, short of removing the latch or cover?

My car is out of my possession at the moment, but I know there are two 10 mm nuts holding the whole latch assembly to the firewall. You may be able to reach them through the grill? I can't remember. |
