Howdy. I have a '75 914 with a stuck engine cover latch. The knob/lever doesn't move at all and I can't seem to trip the latch from inside the trunk (like I've been able to in the past). Anyone have any suggestions for getting it open, short of removing the latch or cover?

have you tried pushing down on the engine cover at the latch point and having someone else try pulling the release?
