Hello!
I am working on a project 914 and am looking to have my 901 transmission rebuilt. Does anyone have any suggestions for shops in the Milwaukee, Chicago, or Minneapolis areas? I'm new to the Area and haven't a clue where to look or go. Any help is appreciated. |

I'd second the suggestion of Brad Mayeur. He's known these cars since they were new!
If that's too far, you could also try contacting Sol Snyderman @ Perfect Power in Buffalo Grove, IL (847-465-8837), Larry Marzano at Precision Porsche Service in Spring Grove, IL (815-713-5190), or George Weatherud @ Midwest Eurosport in Bensenville, IL. If you can break the transmission down, Dr. Evil does a great rebuild of the gear stack for a very reasonable price as well. Simply ship him the stack and he'll do the rest! |
