I have a small package of Carrillo Rods (9lbs) that I need to ship to Sydney...both UPS.com and FEDEX.com estimate the charges to be approximately $120 from a drop off location here to the Sydney International Airport. Does anyone have any insight on a method of shipping that is reliable and cheaper...

USPS air mail is as good as any. You should speak to the person you are sending it to about the declared value of the goods.
