This may be one reason I have yet to compete in a hillclimb event.

I don't know about this year...
but I know in years past they would only have enough time to shut down the road in order to practice just one section at a time.... so it was something like 2-3 runs up one-third of the course on wed another couple of runs up the middle third on thursday and finally a couple of runs up the top section on friday.... hard to learn the course that way so with 156 corners on the course, only the guys that have been there year after year really know what kind of corner they are coming up to next... new guys don't know if its an early or late apex.. if its decreasing or increasing radius... |
