I took my '76 2.0 to a different mechanic than the one I used before to have the pushrod tube seals replaced. He is telling me that he will need to put in collapsable tubes to replace the seal. Anyone ever heard of this or used them. If so, any problems? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Yea, I had them in my VW Bug. They leaked like a siv. I lost about 1/2 quart of oil a day. My driveway became an oil slick that the neighborhood kids would slide down on.

My opinion........ DONT USE THEM! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)
