Just stop turning and you'll be fine... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
The wire coming from the ring triggers the horn when grounded. You either have an intermittent short or an intermittent open depending on how you wired it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thisthreadisworthlesswithoutpics.gif) |

Doing this from memory. Is the horn contact ring well 'nested' within the momo adapter? I don't think the momo adapter and horn contact screw holes always line up perfectly; you may need to chip away some of the plastic horn contact ring with a small blade to allow the holes to line up and 'snug into' the adapter. I think some people have actually drilled new holes in their contact ring. Did you over-torque the steering wheel? Should be 40lbs. |
