Someone mention that "Who Keeps A 914 More Than 5 Years" got me thinking about creating this unscientific poll
The Number of Years can represent one 914 or several different 914's over the years. |

Great topic.
The question is a bit skewed though, I can't answer correctly. I've had 914s on/off since 1998, but never kept one for more than 2.5 years. My comment was more about the constant upgrading/changing/partscars that some go through. I looked at a 74' a few weeks ago where the guy had 3 entire cars worth of parts that he'd pulled and recycled the bodies. 1998-1999 : 1976 2.0 : Sold when I had to pay for my wife's Medical School 2005-2007 : 1973 2.0 : Sold when I bought the company I was working for at the time. 2005-2005 : 1974 1.8 : Parts car that we had a sawzall party for. |
