what our the approximate cost to replace the fuel lines and remove the fuel tank on 1972 914 1.7 An experienced 914 guy should be able to do the job in about an hour, maybe a little more. That's IF the tank is nearly empty. Couple of hoses, change the strainer screen while you're in there. Might take you a couple of hours first time. There are some cautions, so ask for help if you're gonna tackle this. If you're in So Cal, there are a lot of folks who might be willing to help you. I'm a bit far away, or I'd volunteer. Many of us work for beer and food. The Cap'n |
