Watched a show tonight about Drifiting in the US, my wife commented about me driving our 911 like that (hanging the tail out, yippeeeee)...
I think the 914 might be better suited for this sport. Not too sure what the rules are, I wonder if they allow engine transplants or conversions??? hmmmmm Comments??? |

They are not using beater Toyota Corollas at the top end of the sport. Regardless of the body these are purpose built race cars.
I confess that I initially thought it was stupid because it looked like a bunch of kids doing donuts in the street but after watching the Rides show I have a ton of respect for these guys. It may not be racing but these drivers have lots of car control skill. It's judged more like ice skating. |
