Watched a show tonight about Drifiting in the US, my wife commented about me driving our 911 like that (hanging the tail out, yippeeeee)...
I think the 914 might be better suited for this sport. Not too sure what the rules are, I wonder if they allow engine transplants or conversions??? hmmmmm Comments??? |

I'm underwhelmed.
Now WOO cars on a mile of dirt is sumthin' else. Technically, this stuff is not "drifting" but a power slide.....doesn't sound so cool tho. In my experience, a 914 sux at this sorta thing....unless you have 500 lbs of batteries in each trunk (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) They're way to twitchy to hang the back end out for any length of time. Rotating the back end around a cone is really just the beginning of a snap spin.....if you catch it right, you look good, if not....oops. You gotta go back to whem drivers were fat & tires were skinny to see really good drifts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
