Just got Jake Rabys video today. Havent had a chance to watch it yet but I have a question regarding its relationship to the 2.o 914 motor. The info. on the tape indicates that it applies to the bug, ghia, thing and early (up to '71) bus. The question is "Are all of the motors basically the same internally other than displacement?" The Porsche version of the TIV was not mystical... Its the same engine with a different piston, and cylinder head- thats it in a nutshell...
I hit some aspects of the 914 in the video.... The performance version is getting closer and closer! Damn it, this is Jake..... Dave logged himself into this workstation while he was here and now it won't let me post under my own user name!!LOL |
