Fresh air comes from above to feed the fan that cools the motor.
Properly done, there is no way for air to come into the top pt of the motor from below...cause all the air underneath the engine tin is very hot from the exhaust. |

Well from what I know, the car never had any issues with overheating. My brother drove it as a daily driver in wonderful California stop and go traffic for many years. I'm sure if its a concern, the new owner can modify the engine cover to accept some sort of cooling ducts routed to the engine fan. Thank you, Jorge |
