I am interested in your conversion.

What was the deciding factor in your choice of engine and did you have any install peculiarities unique to that engine.

Would you make the same engine choice again?

please post the $#s for the above mentioned engines. soup to nuts…complete engines (+ what it took to get them to their current point) or core and parts acquisitions. not to include machine work/assem/labor costs…don't be shy. REAL #s.

My opinion - $10K bare minimum - $25K +

The days of the mythical $5K swap are over.

TC's PMO carbs are $4k alone

Paul P might have some good #'s on his recent conversion. He seemed to keep it all moderate.

it was a mythical $4,000 swap
and a lot of that swap had to be rebuilt later

but I agree... those days are over

But you can get close, I'm using a lot of new parts and am ~$5500 deep in my conversion. That's with some unneeded stuff too, like Rennshift, GT lid.

I made some money selling off my good /4 parts.

Once I'm done I'll have to start a thread on my build...hopefully that'll happen sooner than later.
