I have been toying with adding some daytime running lights. I got some 14cm LED driving lights for about $14.
![]() Was going try and mount them inside the fog lights but I am not sure that would work. So I thought I might be able to insert them under the glass lens of the fog light. Just mocked up for now. ![]() Seems to work pretty well. These things are damn bright! ![]() Thoughts? |

why not just turn on the fog lights when driving?

why not just turn on the fog lights when driving? I use my foglight switch to actuate my DRLs; that what I did my '74; I changed out the internals of my foglight with SMD LEDs and because of the wavelength of the SMDs, they are much more visible than incandescent foglights.
