This is my first time under the car (and the first time under a 914 or even a VW) so I could use a little help identifying some things.
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i237.photobucket.com-17475-1403419060.1.jpg) There is an unattached cable on the right side. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i237.photobucket.com-17475-1403419060.2.jpg) There is also another unattached cable above the shifter. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i237.photobucket.com-17475-1403419060.3.jpg) The car has an ANSA exhaust. I'm not sure if these two pieces are suppose to meet. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i237.photobucket.com-17475-1403419060.4.jpg) I wonder if this hole should have something attached to it? |

If you want to drive it without heat, you can use a couple of spray paint lids and hose clamps to seal off the body connections until you can put the entire system back together.

Yeah, current plan is to drive around this summer and then pull the motor to do the seals that are leaking. No need for a heater. |
