Rick...Always loved the Alien... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Which year/specs for the 928 engine did you use by the way and what FI does it have? Thanks Jeff! The engine started out as a 1980 300 hp. 4.7 euro spec "S" After a broken Cam shaft destroyed two engines (one on the first crank of the starter (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)) I ended up having the block bored out to 5.0. I had a set of 5.0 32 valve pistons notched for 16 valves heads and built what the 928 guys call a hybrid. This combo has been dyno tested in the 928's chassis turning all the accessories over 350 hp. to the rear wheels. Here's the broken cam that cost me two engines. Here's the photo used in 2004 Excellence Magazine. The photo was taken at the WCR at Parts Heaven Swap Meet. This was the car's debut. Sandy and I have been cris-crossing the country from event to event ever since. Here's the engine I built. I built every part of this car. |
