Ive noticed that alot of different exhausts marketed (exchangers and headers) for different size motors so whats the difference measurement wise in the 1.7 vs the 2.0?

I just put on my heat exchangers/exhaust on my 2.0L (torqued to 15 ft-lb at the heads) and the 19 3/4" dimension shown in the picture measures 19 1/4" on my set-up. Engine is outside of car.
Do I have to loosen up the exhaust to head nuts to wiggle the muffler and muffler bracket in place then tighten everything or is there something wrong? |

Yes loosen the nuts on the exhaust studs at the heads and you can get the muffler and bracket to line up. Bruce |
