If your car does not have a parking brake do you leave it in gear or just rely on the straps to secure it?

also...and against conventional wisdom...I recommend you DO NOT cross your straps.
think about it...if a strap lets go, the remaining strap is pulling the car to one side, thus being detrimental and causing more problems. If they are straight front to back, it will always try to keep it somewhat centered. Again, just my opinion but been trailering multiple cars for 20 years in many different configurations and trailers... |
