It's a late car; when I pull up on the eBrake handle it doesn't set. It will go back down to the floor. Is a part sticking ?

Sounds like the spring is Kaput. I don't think there is a throw out bearing in there.....so it should be okay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |

Bruce, Sounds like the spring is Kaput. I don't think there is a throw out bearing in there.....so it should be okay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) If the spring were bad I would think there would be no tension on the button. Could be the rod that pushes on the pawl. |
