I dropped the bumper off at star bright chrome in oregon city today. A few weeks ago, I swung by their shop and got a quote for 450. Today's price was 625. The owner looked at the job and pointed out the thin bumpers and work that has already been done (very thin metal). I have to admit, there is a lot of work that has been done and probably needs to be done. There was some pitting on the front and some welding on the back of the bumper. We settled on 600.
Although disappointed with the change in price; I'm in a hurry to get the bumper fixed. Right now I've got more money than time, so let's go. Shop owner said he'd have the bumper dipped twice and it would look great when complete. Pictures to follow. If they do a great job, consider them a resource. If they f¥*# it up...... |
