look at part#71077 on this parts page, at my company we have some fleet customers that that spend over $25,000 a year on headlights failing and they are looking and are using this company products in some of their locations.

LED headlights are pretty common now. I'll post pics of my SEMA findings after I upload them.
The backside didn't get all that warm really. However the bulb replacement LEDS were borderline touchable. pics...
