Raby HP? Options

Been working on the car and sorting out issues. New shifter parts, brake parts showed up from Pelican today. I haven't even driven the car yet with the stock 2.0 and I'm already thinking about how fun the car would be with more HP. I'm not into slow cars. LOL !!! As I said I have made good HP with a type one motor and the type four is new to me. What is the word on HP. I've seen reference to Raby's 2.9 and I have the Hot VWs performance mag with his 2270 build up in it. Give me the low down on Raby HP.

400hp t1?

on the street?

you can drive a 8,000hp funny car on the street too... not for very long!

400hp creates a lot of heat to dissipate and I don't see this being a reliable efficient long living motor.

that's is most likely what Raby is going to tell you his challenges were in making power in the T4.

combustion chamber design advances have helped but not to make 400hp that will living driving in traffic and other street engine chores.

you can always build a grenade and deal with a hot mess to drive on the street but that gets old and gets parked in the garage.
