Well... the 914-6 is done. All the rubber, seals, bumpers windows etc. have been put back in. Last task was to clean out and install the gas tank. I used new lines up front and none are pinched etc. The car won't start.
I can't hear the pump. I can usually detect the whine and hear the gurgles in the tank once it starts. I checked the wiring to the pump and it is fine. Does the fuel pump need to be primed after the tank has come out?? Help me with the final step... Thanks! |

Pump's out.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love working with raw fuel? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Have I mentioned lately how much I love pulling fuel pumps out of 914's? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Does anyone have a 914-6 or an early 911 fuel pump they'd like to off? |
